Ellen (Aileen)KELLYPeacefully in Dundonald House Care Home, on 6th January 2024, Aileen, aged 89 years. Formerly of Hobsland Cottage, Monkton. Much loved wife of the late William Kelly. Mum to Colin and Jennifer. Cherished Gran of Arlene, Callum and Sarah. Aileen will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will take place on Thursday 1st February 2024 at Monkton Cemetery at 11.00am.

Both Willie and Aileen Kelly were an important part of our childhood and we all have very fond memories of them. There were many laughs during Halloween, enjoyable walks with the collies, baking lessons in the kitchen and of course lots of talk about sheep, lambing and Kelso tup sales ! They were such a genuine couple who were so kind to us and very popular with many friends. RIP Aileen - your suffering has ended - it’s time to go and join Willie and others - please have a blast, you deserve it. Thinking of you - MA, Karen, Jane and Elizabeth
