I am sat here working and listening to some music, you came into my head. I know that we shared love for music and the emotions that it conjured for us. I cannot tell you how much I love and miss you, the memories that I have of our time together will stay with me forever. I know that times were so hard for you, especially after returning from the Gulf, if I could have taken that pain away from you I would have. You have lived with many demons for many years and I just wish that you let people in, however I know how you used to want to deal with things on your own and not burden your children. You always told me that your father was a pinnacle person in your life, you were in mine. The love and adoration for Gramps is something that I felt for you, even though I know at times you didn't understand that. You made me proud every time you put your uniform on, you made me proud when we would greet you from the plane or coach after being overseas! You were one cool father! A man that I used to go to school with me contacted me after over thirty years and was so sad to hear of your passing, he said he remembered you as a soldier and walking around Harestock with BJ. That is the kind of impression you had on people - my father in every way. I will love you forever and a day. Your daughter Natasha XXXXX
