MichaelPOPPLESTONPassed away peacefully at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham on 18 January, aged 82, with his loving family by his side. Deputy City Librarian, 1981-1996, at Newcastle City Libraries, Michael was a devoted husband to Anthea, a much loved Dad of Richard and his wife Aidalina, cherished brother to Susan and a very proud Grandad to Tobias and Sophia. Michael will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The funeral service is taking place at Bramcote Crematorium, Nottingham, NG9 3GJ on Wednesday 31 January at 4.30pm.
