NormaPRETHEROPassed away on Friday 27th June 2025 at Hull Royal Infirmary aged 88 years.

Reunited with her dearly beloved Husband John. Much loved Mother to Tina, Les, Kerry and In-laws Paul and Sue. Devoted Grandma and Great Grandma.

Funeral service to take place on Wednesday 30th July 12.00 noon at St James Church, Sutton prior to interment at Eastern Cemetery.

Floral tributes welcome but donations if desired to British Heart Foundation and Breast Cancer UK, collection plate to be placed at church.

Resting at John Parkin & Son, 3 Saltshouse Road. Tel. 376104.

PRETHERO- The family of Norma Prethero would like to thank relatives and friends for the cards, flowers and numerous kind messages received. Also thanks to Rev’d Steven Benford ( St James Parish) for the beautiful service and Parkins for their support and guidance at this difficult time. Thank you to everyone who made donations to the British Heart Foundation and Breast Cancer Uk: a total of £245.50 was raised.

Bye Aunty Norma. I remember you as a girl and teenager. You stayed with us for a few weeks before you got married to John. We have lost the last one of your generation. It will be nice to remember you at the church where you got married and my treasured photo of everybody outside on that day. Memories also of your 50th anniversary in Hull.
