All the sadness I am feeling at the moment must be the result of all the love and happiness I felt in the few years I've known you.
I was one of your exchanging students in 2019, and we kept in contact ever since. I came to visit a few times, and you came to Italy. I will cherish the emails and the text of life updates, sarcasm and mental health matters. You helped me through so many difficulties and I will owe you one for the rest of my days. Some of my greatest memories have been made when I was 18 in Nantwich, cooking dinner with you and the other students, coming back years later to visit, doing jigsaw puzzles with Mary and crosswords with Leo.
The joy you have continuously spread amongst people will remain untouched by the passing of time.

We are unbelievably sorry that he has gone, leaving a massive hole in so many people's lives.
One of life's real characters, and utterly irreplaceable.
The world will be a much quieter and more boring place without him

Heartfelt condolences.
Rob was such a kind man who brought joy to all those around him. He will be sorely missed and especially by our yoga group where his humour and wit brought smiles and laughter to every session.

I enjoyed every minute of the time I spent with Rob. He was caustic with his humour but could take as good as he gave. I loved sampling his cooking and was greatly pleased when he complimented me on mine - often grudgingly as I would often take shortcuts or make time-saving modifications that made him roll his eyes. He was so generous with his neighbourliness, making huge efforts on behalf of Mary and Leo. I shall miss our friendly banter and the more serious conversations we had on a variety of topics. Thanks Rob for being a friend to me.
