Jim was a friend & colleague but absolutely more of a friend for over 37 years with Industrial & Marine Hydraulics & before that with D & N. A fount of knowledge always with a smile & closing with ‘Up The Boro’. Sometimes we spoke more of The Boro than work. We worked together, we socialised together & we laughed together. You were always welcoming with a smile, nothing a trouble - oh how you will be missed. You left us too soon Jim but what a legacy, what memories.
Paul G & all of your friends at IMH.

Jim you left us too soon as you still had a lot to enjoy in life.
You always gave 100% at the workplace over a long working career and looked after your colleagues and it was a true family atmosphere.
The team will miss a dedicated manager at Northern Hose
I spent many a time after hours with you playing squash, table tennis, snooker, darts, weight training, golf, to name a few and having an occasional beer and a laugh.
You also associated with many of my friends too and enjoyed these moments.
Rest in peace Jim

James, we are so thankful to have had you in our lives and our family will not be the same without you. You will be remembered as a warm, kind and loving uncle, brother-in-law, father, son and grandfather who left us too soon. We will deeply miss you and will carry our happy family memories together forever. May your soul rest in peace. Love forever, Katie & Peter Dobson (Canada).
