Philip RoderickSMITH(Whitley Bay, Burnt House Road) Died peacefully at his home on Tuesday 1st Match 2022. Dearly beloved father to Brynn Reed, dearly loved son of Doreen Smith and late father Herbert Smith, sister Cynthia Smart, nieces Cordet Smart and Karen Snook, also great nephew Oscar Smart and great nieces Natasha Snook and Zoe Snook. Deeply missed by all the family. He will also be sadly missed by his exceptional care team and special friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday 29th March with a short service at Preston Cemetery Chapel North Shields at 10.00am and then on to Whitley Bay Cemetery for his interment at 11.15am and then afterwards at Burnt House Road. Phil wishes that his funeral be a celebration of his life and had expressed a wish that dark colours are not worn and no flowers. However donations can be made to the Guide Dog Association, a collection box will be available at the service.
