Catherine Ann GemmaSWEENEY(nee Mone) (also known as Kathleen / Kath) Kings Norton, Birmingham. Formerly of Derrynoose, Co. Armagh, Nr Ireland. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on 13th August 2021 aged 79 years. Beloved wife of John and much loved Mother to Gemma, Sean, James, Tony and Kevin and devoted Nana to Jennifer, Rosie, Joe, Jack, Conor and Liam. Survived by sisters Bridie and Dympna. She lost her long fight against cancer which was bravely borne but now she is at rest and pain free. The family wish to pass on their thanks to the support and care given by St. Mary's Hospice, Hawkesley District Nurse Team and Dwell Homecare. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. She will be received into St John Fisher's Church at 4.30pm on Tuesday 14th September and funeral Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday 15th September at 11.00am, followed by burial at St Nicholas Church at 12.30pm.
