Christmas Deadlines & Opening Hours 2023

Christmas is almost upon us. Hopefully, you won't be too busy and get to enjoy some time with family and friends. With Christmas comes a change to our publishing deadlines so we have created a Christmas deadline guide for you to download and keep handy.
Christmas Day falls on a Monday this year and the following titles will not be published on this day:
Birmingham Mail
Bristol Post
Burton Mail
Cambridge News
Coventry Telegraph
Daily Post
Daily Record
Derby Telegraph
Grimsby Telegraph
Huddersfield Examiner
Hull Daily Mail
Leicester Mercury
Liverpool Echo
Manchester Evening News
Newcastle Chronicle
Newcastle Journal
Nottingham Post
Paisley Daily Express
Plymouth Herald
South Wales Echo
South Wales Eve Post
Stoke Sentinel
Teesside Gazette
Western Daily Press
Western Mail
Western Morning News
The deadline for all of our Boxing Day newspapers is 5pm Friday 22nd January.
The Paisley Daily Express is the only newspaper that will not be published on Boxing Day. The Paisley Daily Express is also the only newspaper that will not be published on New Year's Day.
The deadline to publish a notice in all daily newspapers published on Wednesday 27th December is also 5pm on Friday 22nd December.
Between 28th December and 31st December, all daily newspaper deadlines are as normal. The deadline for all daily newspapers due to be published on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 is 5pm on Friday 29th December 2023.
All deadlines return to normal from Wednesday 3rd January 2024.

Christmas Deadlines 2023 In the South East, the West London Gazette (Ealing/Uxbridge/Chronicle Informer series) will not be published on Wednesday 27th December or Wednesday 3rd January 2024.
All weekly titles due to be published on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th December have a deadline of 5pm on Friday 22nd December.
Newspapers due to be published on Thursday 28th December have a deadline of either 5pm on Friday 22nd or are as normal - please check the below document to confirm your local title.
All deadlines are normal for papers published between 28th December and 31st December. The deadline for all newspapers due to be published on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 is 5pm on Friday 29th December 2023. For papers published on Wednesday 3rd January 2024, the deadlines are a mix of 5pm on Friday 29th December or are as normal. Again, please check the document below for confirmation of the correct date for your local newspaper.
All deadlines after Wednesday 3rd January are as normal.

We are closed from Saturday 23rd December to Tuesday 26th December, returning to answer the telephone, respond to email and live chat enquiries and book and check notices from 9am Wednesday 27th December.
We are closed from Saturday 30th December to Monday 1st December, returning at 9am on Tuesday 2nd December.
