Christmas Deadlines & Opening Hours 2025

Christmas is almost upon us. Hopefully, you won't be too busy and can enjoy some time with family and friends. With Christmas comes a change to our publishing deadlines, so we have created a Christmas deadline guide for you to download and keep handy.

Christmas Day falls on a Thursday this year, and our daily newspapers will not be published on this day. Additionally, the Paisley Daily Express will not be published on Boxing Day (Friday, 26th December) or New Year's Day (Thursday, 1st January 2026).

For all other daily titles publishing on Boxing Day, please be aware of earlier deadlines. For many titles, the deadline for Boxing Day publication is as early as 11:30 am on Friday, December 19th, or 13:30 pm on Wednesday, December 24th. Please check the guide for your specific local title.

All deadlines return to normal for publications from the week commencing Monday, 5th January 2026.

The West London Gazette will not be published on Christmas Eve (Wednesday, 24th December) or New Year's Eve (Wednesday, 31st December).

All other weekly publications will be published as normal, but with amended deadlines. Please review the document below to confirm the specific deadline for your local title, as many require booking by Thursday, December 18th.

Our booking site is open 24/7 and can be accessed here. You will have the option to book notices for immediate online publication.

* Christmas Day (Thursday, 25th Dec): Closed

* Boxing Day (Friday, 26th Dec): Closed

* New Year's Day (Thursday, 1st Jan): Closed.

We will be open as usual on non-bank holidays. If you send us an email to request a notice during our closed hours, we will respond as soon as we return. The deadline document details our full opening hours, so please take a moment to familiarise yourselves with them.
