Christmas is almost upon us. Hopefully you wont be too busy and get to enjoy some time with family and friends. With Christmas comes a change to our publishing deadlines so we have created a Christmas deadline guide for you to download and keep handy.

Christmas Deadlines - Daily Newspapers

Christmas Day is a Sunday this year so the Manchester Evening News will not be published on this day. This also means the deadlines for all of our Boxing Day newspapers are as normal, with the deadlines falling as they usually would the Friday before. The only exception to this is the Paisley Daily Express that will not be published on Monday 26th December.

The deadline to publish a notice into all daily newspapers published on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th December 2022 is 5pm on Friday 23rd December.

There are no other changes over the holiday period apart from a change in the deadline for all daily newspaper titles published on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 which is 5pm on Friday 30th December 2022.

All deadlines return to normal from Wednesday 4th January.

Christmas Deadlines - Weekly Newspapers

The deadline to publish a notice into the Sunday Mercury and Wales on Sunday on Christmas Day is 5pm on Tuesday 20th December.

Most of our weekly newspapers due to publish between Tuesday 27th and Thursday 29th December 2022 have an amended deadline of 5pm on Friday 23rd December. There are a few exceptions to this so please be sure to read the below document thoroughly to check your local newspapers.

There are no more changes to deadlines until Tuesday 3rd January 2023 when all notices need to be with us by 5pm on Friday 30th December.

The majority of newspapers due to be published on Wednesday 4th January 2023 have deadlines as normal, with the exception of the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser, Aldershot News & Mail, Brentwood Gazette, Carmarthen Journal, Holyhead Mail, Rochdale Observer (Wed), West London Gazette (Ealing/Uxbridge/Chronicle Informer) and Wishaw Press that all have an amended deadline of 5pm on Friday 30th December.

All deadlines after Wednesday 4th January 2023 are as normal.

Please do read and download the guide below for confirmation.

Remember loved ones this Christmas
We have created a Memorial Wall for people to add their free tributes to loved ones at Christmas time.

It has again proved popular, with thousands of people adding their own loving tributes.

This feature will be available on funeral-notices.co.uk from December 1st to January 4th, 2023, and provides a safe space online for anyone wishing to remember a loved one this Christmas.

This might be a free resource you would like to share with your families. You can visit the Memorial Wall here.
