We are still on track to launch our updated website by early June, with the official showcase happening at the NFE later that month. Some of the benefits of the website enhancements are:
• Simplified navigation
We understand that dealing with loss is challenging enough—navigating our site shouldn't be. We've embraced simplicity and elegance in our design, ensuring it is accessible for everyone, and allowing people to focus on what truly matters—remembering loved ones without the stress of complex technology.
• Simplified search functionality
To help find existing tributes or specific information seamlessly, our improved search function allows people to navigate the site effortlessly. This feature supports the need to connect with the memories of loved ones quickly and without stress.
• Softer look and feel
We are softening the look of the site. The new colour palette is designed to improve accessibility for the visually impaired, whilst reflecting the sensitive nature of the valuable content we are honoured to host on behalf of families throughout the UK.
For Funeral Directors with Funeral Notices on their website, the page on your website will not change.
We will communicate more to you once the site is live, talking you through the updates to ensure you can confidently show the site to families.
The way you book your notices will not change.
The next Bank Holiday is on Monday 27th May and we will be available from 09.00 - 17.00 to contact via email only at fdteam@funeral-notices.co.uk - there are no changes to deadlines.
If you need to book a notice whilst we are not open or need a notice online instantly, you can select 'upload immediately' on the date selection page of your booking. Your notice will be on funeral-notices.co.uk within 15 minutes ready for the family to share, add their loving tributes and make donations.
If you wish a notice to appear online immediately and in the paper, the date selection will default to the next available publishing day for the print version. Our dedicated team of moderators will make sure it is correct in time for the print deadline. You can book your notices
