Funeral Notices Update | August 2022

It's almost time for the last summer bank holiday of the year. As I write this here in East Yorkshire it is raining, typical! Let's hope the rain clears and we get some more sunshine - this year is flying by.
As the next long weekend approaches we would like to remind you of a slight change to our opening hours.
Our deadlines remain unchanged this year, however there will be a slight change to our opening hours and means of contact. On Bank Holiday Monday 29th August we will be available 09.00 - 17.00 to contact via email only on fdteam@funeral-notices.co.uk
We will have people working throughout the weekend to check notices and our online booking service is available 24/7
here.
If you would like to book a notice whilst we are not open or need a notice online instantly, you can select 'upload immediately' on the date selection page of your booking. Your notice will be on funeral-notices.co.uk within 15 minutes ready for the family to share, add their loving tributes and make donations. If you wish a notice to appear online immediately and in the paper, the date selection will default to the next available publishing day for the print version and our dedicated team of moderators will make sure it is correct in time for the print deadline.
Following your feedback we have created a 2 insert package for all weekly newspaper titles. Daily newspaper titles come with 2 inserts as standard.
If you use a weekly newspaper, simply select the 2 insert package and choose 2 dates when you get to the calendar stage of the booking.
If you call or email us with your bookings please clearly state the 2 dates you would like the notice to appear in the newspaper. The 2nd insert is offered at a discount of 50%.
