Spring has arrived, face to face meetings are allowed and we are starting to feel a little more positive. It's important to that we hear good news, especially in our industry. To help, we would love to share your good news stories on social media.

Account Manager Rob Stebbing is out and about visiting with Funeral Directors across the UK. After almost two years of lockdowns and restrictions he couldn't wait to get out there and meet people face to face. As well as chatting with some of our Preferred Partners, Rob is gathering stories and photographs for us to share on our social media. Unfortunately we cannot get round to visit you all in person, so we invite you to send us your photos and good news stories and we will give you a mention on our social media.
Take this example of great work in the community by Franklin & Hawkins Family Funeral Directors in Coventry, who have turned their funeral home into a collection point for donations for Ukraine. We published their news and images to Facebook and tagged them in it too:

Our next good news story was first shared on social media by brand new Preferred Partner Love's Independent Funeral Directors in Stafford. We asked them for their photos and shared it on our social media the following day:

Preferred Partner Kriss Morrison-Cooper Independent Funeral Directors in Loughborough are celebrating raising over £20,000 for charity on their notices on funeral-notices.co.uk - a fantastic achievement. You can read about that on our LinkedIn page.

AJ Lloyd in Coventry are also one of our Preferred Partners. They are also celebrating their donation successes on their funeral notices, with over £40,000 raised so far. They are also pleased to be opening a third branch:

To get involved, all you need to do is send us an email (fdteam@funeral-notices.co.uk) marked for the attention of Vicki, titled good news story. We only need a few words to describe the achievement and a maximum of two images (include names if you send images of your team).

We will share your good news on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Tell us more

If you have a longer story to tell, or would like to tell us about a day in the life of a Funeral Director (for example) then we would love to offer you the chance to write a blog for us. We publish our blogs on funeral-notices.co.uk and on our social media, typically on Mondays and Thursdays. If writing a guest blog appeals to you, send us an email with your story and your image (s). We will link the blog to your website and tag you on social media when it is published.

You can read our previous blogs here.
