August Bank Holiday Deadlines &
Opening Hours
Monday 30th August is our next UK Bank Holiday; the final one before Christmas.
We hope you are able to take a break over the weekend, more than anything I hope for some sunshine so we can all get outside and do the things we love to do.
If you're working the Bank Holiday weekend, to ensure we offer you the best possible service we will be working Bank Holiday Monday to book and check your notices.
- Our telephone lines will be closed, however we will have people available to book notices via email (fdteam@funeral-notices.co.uk) and check notices for those of you who choose to book your own notices.
If you are working outside of office hours this Bank Holiday weekend, it may be useful to know how to book your own notices on funeral-notices.co.uk
The process is available 24/7, is straightforward and saves you time waiting for proofs from us.
If you book your own notices, we promise to check them prior to publication in print. We have a team of dedicated scrutineers available every day, including Bank Holidays, ready to read through your notices and spot anything that needs changing. They also double check you have chosen the correct charity/ies for donations.
In the unlikely event something is missed, by us or by you, we guarantee we will publish the notice again, free of charge.
Bank Holiday weekends are an ideal time to take advantage of online donations. Donations may be made on your notices as soon as they are published on funeral-notices.co.uk - with our instant upload that could be as soon as 15 minutes after you have submitted your notice from the basket (or instruct us to publish immediately on your email booking request).
With the Bank Holiday coming up it is reassuring to know that donations may be made on your funeral notices any time of the day or night, from any location across the world and on any mobile or computing device.
We have put together a hand out for you and your families to explain our donation process:

Hopefully you will have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, whatever you end up doing and whatever the weather!
Thank you once again for your continued support and thank you for your dignity, professionalism and hard work in what has been the most challenging year (and a half) of most of our lives.
